What is the LoveStory Photographic Experience?
Your LoveStory Experience will bring your love to life with beautiful fine art photography. It is a creative experience that celebrates the ones you love and the moments that give life its meaning.
Your entire LoveStory Experience will take place in a single day. DHP Studios is located in Fairfield, CT, but our team will travel to your primary residence, vacation home, or special location anywhere in the world.
Whether we help you to celebrate your family, your animal companion(s), or just you, connection is always the focal point. You can also honor your most sacred self, the deepest truths of who you are, with a highly personal series of narrative portraits.
We do not rush – there are no imposed time limits. No phones. No interruptions. Just presence, beauty, and gratitude. After the photographic session, we return to the studio for a cinematic premiere and design consultation to design the artwork to your specific sensibilities. From our first conversation to displaying your handmade artwork in your home, your LoveStory Experience is one of reawakening, remembering, cherishing. Together, we’ll honor and celebrate the ones you love.

How does it work?
Your LoveStory Experience begins the moment you connect with us. We want to hear your stories and discover what details you cherish in your relationships. Our Discovery Call is an exploratory first step where you introduce us to your loved ones or animals and let your creativity run wild. The goal is to bring into focus the moments that matter, even seemingly ordinary ones, so our team can strive to bear witness to them. We will also discuss the perfect location and arrange for a wardrobe consult via Skype before the day of your session.
The LoveStory Photography Session itself is tender and heartwarming, filled with laughter, tears, gratitude—everything. The unique nature of your relationships leads the way. From the vibrant mix of excitement and stillness, beautiful imagery suddenly emerges. Even if it’s your first time being photographed professionally, our gentle expertise ensures that the experience is comfortable and fun.
Shortly thereafter, we rendezvous at DHP Studios in Fairfield, CT (or video conference for out of town clients) for the Premiere, a cinematic slideshow presentation where we review your photographs together. A design and ordering consultation follows to create the perfect wall art, album, and portrait collections for your home. Each LoveStory piece is made in Italy, signed by the photographer, and includes a certificate of authenticity.
When your handmade artwork is ready, it can be delivered from Italy directly to your home, or you can return to the studio for the Reveal. Whether you take home a fine art print to display on your wall or a keepsake box of prints to tuck into a private nightstand, your LoveStory is there to remind you, again and again, of what matters most.
